Inspired by the chaotic charm of Cars and the magic of stories, Lightning McQueen’s Pit Crew is a global book club built for readers who don’t like to hit the brakes. We’re a community of book lovers who read 2 to 3 books a month, vote on what we’re in the mood for, and bring all the energy of a Pixar montage to our discussions.

With 27 members and counting, this club is a space for connection, conversation, and the occasional emotional spiral over fictional characters.

Why This Club Exists

Reading can be a lonely hobby—especially when you finish a book and your dog is the only one around to witness your heartbreak (and, frankly, doesn't care). This club was created to change that. How It Works

Each month, we check the mood of the crew. Are we in the zone for fantasy? In need of a messy romance? Craving a cry-fest? Once we’ve felt it out, we shortlist a few titles and vote. The top pick becomes our next read.

We aim for 2 to 3 books a month, but there's no pressure—some speed through all of them, some choose just one. Everyone’s pace is welcome here.
