Plot Twists &
Personal Takes
Documenting my journey as a reader, writer, and human — one book, one thought, one revelation at a time.
About Me.
Hi, I’m Muskan, or as my friends and family call me, Muski. I’m a lifelong reader, aspiring author, and someone who’s constantly rediscovering herself through stories.
I grew up in the vibrant chaos of Delhi, India, before moving to Toronto, Canada as a teenager. I studied at the University of Toronto for my undergraduate degree, and then moved to what I believe is the greatest city in the world — London — to pursue my master’s at University College London.
Since I moved abroad quite young, I always felt like I had some unfinished business with Delhi, so now I’m back, building something of my own. I’m currently working on launching a sustainable home, wellness, and perfumery brand rooted in intention and impact.
My reading journey started early. I was that kid who always had her nose buried in a book. Between exams, moving cities, and the chaos of growing up, reading took a bit of a backseat. But it never really left me. Even during the busiest years, I’d still manage to squeeze in a few books. After finishing my master’s, I returned to reading with full force. I read just over 100 books last year, and I’m on track to do it again this year.
You’ll mostly find me reaching for literary fiction, fantasy, and the occasional mystery, though recently I’ve been exploring more non-fiction and biographies too.
This blog is my space to document it all — from book reviews and personal reflections to a few chaotic, slice-of-life episodes as a 25-year-old navigating a city that’s both deeply familiar and strangely new.
Thanks for being here. I hope you stay a while.
